Digital Xray, digital dental x rays, dental x rays

Digtal X Rays

How Does Digital XRays help you ?
Perhaps the greatest benefit of using digital X Ray technology is the lesser amount of radiation involved when compared to traditional xrays. As you know, exposure to high doses of
radiation can have unforseen side effects.

The digital x ray process is considerably faster than using traditional xrays, you will not have to wait in long lines to get dental xrays. And since we have this machine in our office, you will be in and out quickly.

Better understanding of your treatment
With digital xrays, you will instantly see a blown up photograph of your teeth on a monitor in our office. Unlike with traditional xrays you
do not have to wait for the xray film to be developed before you see it. You will get a better undertanding of the problem when you see it right in front of you, and you will easily undertand the treatment recommendation we make for you.

Panoramic view of your teeth
Digital xrays can produce a panoramic view of your teeth with unparalleled clarity. You can
see this view this on screen as well. This helps us to perform a wholistic diagnosis for you.

Benefits to the environment
Digital xray technology does not use film. No more film implies no more chemicals needed to process it. Digital xrays completely eliminates film and harmful chemicals needed for film processing. This is one small part in helping the environment

Does insurance cover Digital XRays ?
Most insurance plans cover digital dental xrays. Costs involved are usually the same as traditional xrays.

How is your experience going to be with Digital XRay ?
Our digital xray technician will gently glide a small sensor around your mouth. The images instantly show up on a computer monitor. These digital images, which look similar to old fashioned X-rays, can be enlarged and manipulated. This gives our staff a clearer picture and we will be able to make a more accurate diagnosis of your dental condition.

At Bristol Dental we are proud to offer Digital Dental X Rays to our patients.
